Wahtum Lake O&B

The first part of the trail is just an access trail for an Aquaduct (AKA 'oak grove ditch'?) Some of the road crossings and very litle of the trail is marked, so get a good trail map guide. check out free map downloads at www.topo.com for this one. The trail is not for beginners, alot of steep climbing and rugged trail surface, but a sweet downhill ride back. The final trail section to wahtum lake is getting overgrown and may be difficult to follow (Tr. 406B). Bring your camera, the views along Waucoma ridge are better than the famous Surveyors ridge ride. Again a great downhill on the way back.
