, from Portland Summary: This is a thigh burner, but very rideable all the way up ... save that one rock. There were also two tight switches I had to unclip for, but heck, I'm no expert. Two of us clocked it at just over 4 mi and 2050ft. to the road, so it ain't trivial. Very scenic, peek at Sisters peaks just after the trail widens, before it hits the road. And oh, that downhill! The only mud is at the beginning, folks. Other recommended trails in the same area: Mckenzie River Trail

Ridden Trail: Every few months

, from eugene Summary: I ride this trail as much as I can. There is snow from the clearcut up now (December). This has a little bit of everything. Nice, gradually climbing, forested first few miles(good for beginners and even kids. When you get to the clearcut, the trail steepens and goes to doubletrack for a little bit. Cross the road and the real fun begins, this trail has some of the best switchbacks around, and its all rideable. Take a break at the top and let the fun begin. Recommended Route: bottom to top and back Other recommended trails in the same area: McKenzie River, Ollalie, O'Leary
