Ridden Trail: Ridden Once

Weekend Warrior Summary: I heard this might be ok for beginners, so I took my son out this week to check it out. Flat trail through woods near the park; kind of scary graffitti on some old cement structures in the middle of the track - looks like a hangout for druggies. Only jumps available are at front of track in Bryant park - mostly for kids with skills, not really for beginners. Location = jumps busy most of the time. Trail had a couple of sand traps that couldn't be navigated unless you have a powerful granny gear; cause my kids to ditch their bikes and walk sections - not expected in a "beginner" trail. Recommended Route: You can find it at the NW corner of Bryant park. Other recommended trails in the same area: Go to MacDonald Forest in Corvallis - a variety of trails and options, from Chip Ross for beginners to Extendo for more experienced riders. I wouldn't call them expert trails, but they can burn up your breaks if your not careful!
