Ridden Trail: Once a month

Weekend Warrior Summary: This trail is very versatile. It follows the beautiful Brice Creek for about 5.5 miles and ends up ducking behind a nice waterfall at the top of the loop. The ride in total is about 14 miles. If you choose to ride the trail without the steep loop towards the end (the funnest yet most grueling part) you can turn around and make it an easy 11 or 12 mile gig. You will reach a small paved road after the first six miles or so. You can reconnect to the waterfall loop by riding up the paved road for about 50 feet.
This trail is rideable pretty much all year although during winter watch out for missing sections of trail, as it is situated in a temperate rain forest. It does tend to get muddy spots, and also towards the top you will sometimes find snow. Be prepared as always, it seems like a walk in the park until you get to the last part where you climb switchbacks up to the waterfall - this part will kill unsuspecting prey. Recommended Route: I would contact Pauls Bike shop or Collins Cylces in Eugene in order to get directions and tips on getting to the trail. Other recommended trails in the same area: If you like downhill or freeriding, try the Crawfish trail. The boys at Collins Cycle shop know all about it. It is a little hard to find but worth it.
