Very tight trail. Thick trees with quick turns. A few very short but very steep hill climbs. Some roots that may require riders to dismount. No impossible climbs. Beginners will waqnt to take it really slow

Trail Directions
Take the Hefner road exit off Grand. Take a left and follow Hefner about 1.5 miles. This will take you behind the dam. After passing a treatment plant on the right you will come to a stop light with a park on your right. Turn right at the light and then take an immediate left into the park. There is a foot-path that heads west with a trail breaking off to the right immediately after you cross the foot bride. This trail will take you through a fence and to the trail head.

Summary:
Tight twisty singletrack. The trail crosses over a dry creek bed many times giving you quick up and downs. Think lots of roots and switchbacks. It is well designed for the small space that is in and a lot of fun to do a couple laps. However on weekends it can be a little crowded for my liking.

Simply put- Tight and Twisty. You ride up, down, and along the creek bed. There are a lot of roots to ride over but not impossible.

Summary:
I'm from New England. Mountain biking is much different mostly in the form of mountains and granite. I'm a down hill skier that loves to ski in the trees. This trail is awesome. It is about as close as I can get to skiing. It requires good use of balance and eyes focusing on the lines between the trees. Good workout and fun!

Summary:
It’s an awesome and fun trail, especially since it’s in the city (and for me close to home). There’s a little bit of everything on this trail - roots, tight turns, bridges and drops. Thanks to OEF, its well maintained. Great workout if you ride hard.
