, from Leon, OK ,U.S.A Summary: I had a blast! The trail was a very fun, fast trail with alot of rocks and a few short but fairly steep uphills. a fairly easy, great for beginers and a good workout when i went the trails had just been open after being closed all spring due to ice storms which made the dirt soft and sluggish to ride on. I usually ride the cross timbers trail on lake texoma, a very difficult trail, which made this feel like nothing. for the most part I liked the trail it was very well kept but it lacked difficulty and there was horseshoe ruts in the creeks and horse crap all over the trails. Recommended Route: at the north end of veterens lake take a right once you cross the bridge follow the emergency spillway, cross the creek and look for the trail 3 marker and take a left follow 3 untill you get to 1 stay left, untill you hit 4, take a right or you will be on a fire road if you take 1. Other recommended trails in the same area: lake murray buckhorn trail, lake texoma cross timbers trail.

, from Tyler, Tx Summary: I had heard about this trail alot. I was camping at chickasaw and decided to bring my bike. The trail was really well maintained and fun. There was some climbing but otherwise it was nice and smooth except for the rock fields with basketball size rocks. There are little jumps all through out due which are dirt things that dervert the water on the trail to stop erosion. Oh yeah watch out for the horse shit. Oh yeah i had to walk out cause my bike went flat. Recommended Route: I came from the north end near veterans lake. Big sign marking where it is.

, from OKC Summary: Great trail for experienced or beginners. Beginners will have to walk in some places. Not very technical, but a fun ride with lots of stumps and cactus on the south end. Watch out for the creek crossings, bottoms are wet and thick and rutted by horses. Great trail for a good cardio workout. Trail is well marked, there are four different trails to ride. Four stars because of the excellent maintanence by the park service. Recommended Route: Take 177 to buckhorn road. At buckhorn campsite get a trail map from camp host. There is a parking area at south trail head. Trail head is 50 yards past iron gate. Other recommended trails in the same area: Lake Hefner
