3 miles of mostly single-track mountain bike trails meander through the south shore woods providing both novice and intermediate riders with scenic views of Van Buren Lake and woodlands while crossing the boardwalks over ravines and offering some challenging features • Trail head begins a the South Shore Picnic Area parking lot • Follow the blue blazes
Hikers, horseback riders, and mountain bikers are welcome on 12 miles of multiple-use trails traversing steep ravines and gentler terrain in scenic woodlands in the eastern portion of the park and can accessed from the parking area on Township Road 229 and the campgrounds

Can a 3 mile trail suitable for beginners still be fun enough to keep advanced riders awake., I think this trail says yes. Just 2 miles off I-75. So if in the area give it a try and see if you agree. Trail is loaded with technical features of varying difficulty that are either on the side, or have a bypass. Although there are many miles of trail in the park that can be ridden, the "Blue Trail" is the MTB trail. (Ride clockwise)
