Summary:
This is a really good trail way out in the middle of no where Mickeys has the following things: Dual slalom, Cross- country, downhill, and trials. It is a good place to ride but is about 4 hours away from where I live.

Summary:
Rode everything here, and the CC is one of the best and most demanding I've ridden. Lots of technical areas, stream crossings, and climbing. The DH is sweet but the walk back up hurts after 6 runs, and the DS is a blast. Fast and well set up...Calvin, if you're reading this, you have a fantastic course. Our helmets off to you!

Summary:
I ride the x/c course for fun, but race d/s. Calvin and Cathy do a fantastic job of courting sponsors and having PRIZES to give out/raffle off at every event. These people are first class! The x/c course changes all the time and that makes it interesting, the d/s and d/h courses are constantly being tweaked and groomed and offer rideability for beginners, as well as a challenge for the experts. Open riding is a good time to get some d/s or d/h practice, go down as many times as you can, it's the push back up that hurts the most! They also have a trials section that looks serious. If you haven't been here, you are missing out on the only place I know of locally where you can race/compete in 4 different events every weekend. If you think you're cool 'cause you can clear a set of stairs on your high-dollar, can't get it dirty, 8 inch travel "street" bike, come on down and test your skills against the best! Riders come from New York, Michigan, Indiana, and PA., and they all talk about getting something like this going back in their state. Talk is cheap, Calvin has delivered the goods and all we have to do is show up!

Recommended Route:
get off 22 at Hopedale, and follow the signs

Other recommended trails in the same area:
The Knob, Beans, Mohican

Summary:
I race on the XC course once a month from April to October. The couse is awesome with the perfect combo of climbing, descending, and technical areas. But, be warned, there are know flat areas to cruise on. It would be excruciating to be out of shape and race here. On the other hand, if your in good physical condition you will have the time of your life!! I've also had a good look at the downhill and slalom couses-they look pretty knarly if ya know what I mean.
