Cross Country Rider Summary: The trail system has already been extensively reviewed. I just wanted to commend CAMBA for a well thought out & well executed trail system. I had a blast riding here and wish I could do it more often. I wish there was something like this where I live!

Ridden Trail: Every few months

Weekend Warrior Summary: I rode this trail for the first time last season after being out of the saddle for a few years with back problems and it instantly became my favorite local trail. I have only ridden the trails north of Cable Line Rd (lake side) but now that I have refreshed my riding skills and am more confident in my physical condition I plan to venture onto the more difficult trails on the south side.
the trails on the lake side of Cable Line Rd. are excellent single track. Loaded with tight switch backs, tree roots, water crossing, and log roll overs. Some of the more daunting obstacles have alternate routes allowing less confident riders a means to circumvent the obstacle. there are also some great elevation changes mixed in amongst the switch backs.
Aside from the lake side trail being a good technical single track, it offers some stunning scenery along the way. Recommended Route: For the trails north of Cable Line Rd. take the path from the parking area to what most refer to as the "paved path" (it's actually the remnant of what was once Cable Line Rd. before it became part of the state park), turn left on the paved path and then look for the first trail head to your left. Drop into the trees on this trail and just ride every bit of single track you find until you come back out on the paved section near the east gate about 6.5 miles of single track later.

Downhiller Summary: This trail is great, it offers a ton of diversity for all riding levels. You can challeng yourself by warming up on the trails north of the paved path, they total rigth around 6.5 miles. Once you finish jump over the south trails (more & most difficult plus expert) and challenge your technical skills (plently of rock gardens)
If you time it rights you can ride the north trails back as a nite ride which is a blast as a closer. Recommended Route: Start on the trails north of the paved path, once you finish jump to the south side of the paved path, these trails are more and most difficult with a really nice section of labeled expert only ( very technical rocky section)

Cross Country Rider Summary: This trail has changed so much over the past two years that I have been riding it. In my opinion, it is now a rival to Vultures. I have personally had a hand in building some of the newer sections, and I absoultely love riding here. What it lacks in up and down, it makes up for in technical difficulty. The rock sections here are unlike anything I have ridden in Ohio and Michigan, and the new 200 ft elevated log section is sweet. Recommended Route: Follow direction signs, don't wuss out on the expert only section, just be careful. Other recommended trails in the same area: Vultures Knob, Mohican Wilderness and SP.

Cross Country Rider Summary: I came here with a guy that used to ride this park a few years ago. He mentioned that a lot of the trails were new to him. They must be creating new sections regularly.
There is a trail near the water that is a nice and fast route with a lot of roots to climb over and some bridges to traverse.
Next we hit some trails off the lake that were much more difficult. These trails were a great mix of twisty tight terrain and plenty of rock gardens. It made for a great ride mix of balance and power.
The expert trail was intense. There were more rock obstacles on this trail than I have ever seen anywhere.
I love rocky terrain and it was West Branch's variety of trails, technical difficulty, and great trail conditions that pushed this park to my #1 riding spot.
I'm from Virginia and I know I will be back in the future. Recommended Route: We warmed up on the trail next to the water and then followed the trail signs to the Expert trail and then headed back to the parking lot. 10 miles total for us. I think we rode everthing except about 1.5 miles.
