Wayne National ORV trails

Fast, very fast! These are ORV trails so they're a little wider that most people are used to. they are very well maintained and lots of jumps, bermed turns and long, quad burning, grimace inducing uphills/downhills. There are too many trails to list and you could ride all weekend and not cover the same trail twice. Lots of intersections and loops to choose from so feel free to ride long and possibly get lost. These are multi-use trails mostly used by ORV's so be very careful out there. Fortunately for us we can hear them coming but we can't hear other mt. bikers so feel free to whoop and holler as it may very well save a patch of skin. Most of these trails are legal and marked by an orange diamond but there are intersecions for closed or illegal trails. RESIST THE URGE AND DO NOT RIDE ON UNDESIGNATED TRAILS. This is very important and our children's bicycling pleasure depends on us. Ther are enough awesome trail available here to satisfy anyone so don't ruin it for the rest of us. There is also a minimal trail fee so that the U.S.F.S. can continue maintaining the trails. Before you go, call the Ranger Station in Athens, Oh. and find out the rules.

Summary:
The only better trails I have found are near my grandparents house in Maryland. Wayne is By far the best trails I have ever been on around here. You can ride all day and not worry about hitting the same place twice. but you may want to make a second pass on some. One of my favorites has alot of jumps, It is on the dorr run loop.

Recommended Route:
Monday Creek
