singletrack, easy climbs rough due to dry conditions difficult loops were a little more interesting all in probably not worth more than a hours drive.
Summary: not too tough of a trail, but it's still a good one. nothing really scary, no suicide hills or anything. it's a pretty area, and not generally crowded. trails are fairly well marked, so you can pretty much go out by yourself and not get lost, although if you biff hard, you might lay there a while before someone finds you.
if you ride both loops, it's a good workout, and it's a fun place for group rides, since all riding levels can still have a good time. other than that, it isn't too technical, mainly rolling hills, no real long uphills. some sections, mostly on the north loop, are double track, but it gives the chance to look around at the countryside.
also, this place usually holds up well after rains, but can get a little overgrown at times, since it doesn't seem to get a ton of usage.
Recommended Route: warmup on the north loop, than ride south loop.
Other recommended trails in the same area: caesar creek.

Summary: The singletrack here is sweeeeet. Unfortunately, it's short and the few bits are far apart from one another. The rest is what I cal "lawnmower trail." The fun parts are just too short and too far from one another to give this trail a high recommendation. It's certainly not worth the drive if you live closer to Cesar Creek, Hueston Woods, or even John Bryan.
Recommended Route: Whatever you do, make sure you take the forks marked "singletrack," even if you're a beginner. This will introduce you to what fun mountian biking can be.

Summary: Very sweet beginner/intermediate trail system...lots to keep you interested, nothing too tough or technical, hammer the south loop for lots of FAST wide downhill and some suprising stream crossings...some moderate climbs too....try the North side for a shorter, more technical ride....very well maintained and marked, great place to ride in this part of the world
Recommended Route: South loop (be sure and take the "single-track" off-shoots)....then try the North loop

Ridden Trail: Once a month

Summary: This is a very fast track when it is dry! The meadows leave little to be desired unless you ride full suspension, they can be very bumpy. The meadows do offer some beautiful views however. In the middle of summer the grass in the meadows, if not cut, can get pretty high. The rest of the track is great not too technical--great for beginners and folks that like to go FAST! The best is to go and camp and ride. You can also swim, fish, and boat at Paint Creek.
Recommended Route: I always ride both loops. Follow the red blazes off of the white trail. The white is easy and the red is "more difficult."
Other recommended trails in the same area: Ceasar Creek

Ridden Trail: Ridden Once

Summary: We hit the south loop right from the parking lot. My chain busted 10 minutes into the ride. Up to that point it was fun. Wide grassy trails with a small dirt path in the middle. Fixed my chain, the off to more trails. They are marked on the trees with red paint. This was necessary since the leaves covered the trail. There is 1 section where I'm sure there was even a trail - you just picked your way thru the trees and follow the red paint. There are a few creek crossings. Some technical things, but nothing scary. Trail should be really fast when dry. I thought there was too much grassy double track. But I guess as more people ride in the summer there will be a worn out path. There are 3 seections where you can take an easy route or an advanced route - always take the advanced, its harder than the flat easy trail, but not difficult. After I left, 2 other guys I rode with took the trail backwards, they said it was tons better - more flow to the trail. Give it a shot.
Recommended Route: Only did the south loop. It was March and the north was muddy. But both are good.
