Ridden Trail: Once a week

Weekend Warrior Summary: This trail is about one mile long. It is a very pleasant walking trial, level, in the woods, near the Mentor Marsh. Several deer can usually be seen feeding. It is great trail to breakup a long road ride, but too mushy for a road bike and road tires.
It is not a trail you want to drive to and expect a workout ride. There is nothing challenging about the trail, unless you might run into a cop. Yes, there are some bike tracks, but probably from neighborhood kids.
The gravel-paved trail that runs parallel is a nice alternate route through the area, again, if you're on longer ride. It has great views of the lake and the beach. Other recommended trails in the same area: Unfortunately, I don't think there are a lot of off road trails or routes in northern Ohio. I road ride so don't look for MTB rides.
I have found two routes/trails that are minimally challenging for MTB riders: 1) the Canal Trail from Cleveland to south of AKron, and 2) the Miami River trail north of Cincinnati. They are both long trails, sometimes with too many families and joggers.

Cross Country Rider Summary: hey, 42! will you explain this for me? i went and rode your fragile trail about a week ago, and i had this review in mind...the only reason i rode it was because the frozen ground wouldn't give under my tires...BUT, what to my wondering eyes should appear? BUT A SET OF TRACKS FROM A JOHN DEERE GATOR!!!!! WHY THE HELL ARE WE BANNED, BUT YOUR GATOR'S CAN TEAR THIS "FRAGILE" TRAIL TO BITS??? PLEASE EXPLAIN 42!!
-Sincerely, one angry MTBer Recommended Route: Due to nice people such as 42, any trail that has potential for bikers is illegal to ride, but it's perfectly fine for ORV's to rip the trail a new a**hole. Other recommended trails in the same area: whoever calls the shots for any LMP is a moron for shunning bikes, but allowing horses and ORV's to pummel them into nothing.
