Trails range from easy to moderate. Introductory level singletrack. recently made open to bikers.
Take I-75 to the Cincinnati-Dayton road exit. If you were heading south, turn left. If heading north, turn right. Go down Cincinnati-Dayton road and turn left onto station road. Follow this over the railroad tracks and hang an immediate left. Follow this road until you get to Keehner park. Use the second entrance. It will be on your right (you will see tennis courts as you drive in). If you parked in front of the tennis courts, You should see a little white sign on the tree line. That would be the trailhead (in case you didn't know).
Summary: I guess I'd call this my "home" trail since it is about 5 minutes away from my office. It isn't the best trail in the area, but for a quick ride after work it can't be beat. Some light maintenance work has been done recently and a couple of spots that were unridable are no longer a problem. It is surprisingly technical for the area, including one climb near the beginning that I've only seen one person make. Overall, it has a nice balance of climbs, downhills, and flats. The biggest downside is that it is poorly marked.
Recommended Route: As listed in previous reviews, the trailhead is past the tennis courts and marked with a sign along the treeline.
Other recommended trails in the same area: Hueston Woods (Favorite), Idlewild, Landen

Summary: I previously reviewed this trail (see below). While I still feel that this trail is good for proximity to West Chester, Liberty Township, and Mason, etc, it is not as well maintained as it once was. The trail still offers a good workout and keeps the rider on their toes (albeit, it is a bit short - just ride it multiple times!) Many of the bridges are broken out as a result of wood that has decayed. The synthetic (high impact plastic) bridges are still in good repair. Root exposure is still minimal and I hope it stays that way. Riders can help prevent root exposure by not riding in muddy conditions. The directional signs seem to be placed differently every time I go here. This is probably the result of pranksters and declining trail maintenance. Cyclists, please stay off of trails that you know are for hikers only!! I do not want to lose the privelage of using this trail.

Summary: For a local trail this was a good find for me. It is just technical enough to keep you on your toes. Some good singletrack here. A few good short climbs that will get the heart going and push the anaerobic aspect of this ride. PLEASE respect the rules and do not ride on the hiking trails. The West Chester Park Board will make this trail unavailable to cyclist if the rules are not respected. The owner of West Chester Cyclery does a good job in helping to maintain this trail. This trail is much better than Landen park
Recommended Route: Start about 200 yard behind the tennis courts. There is a sign there showing the beginning of the trail. Rules are posted
Other recommended trails in the same area: Tower Park, Caesars Creek, Hueston Woods

Summary: I'm very happy to have found this trail. My limited schedule often times does not allow me to take the time to drive to Ceasars or East Fork, so it's nice to find something where I can take just an hour and ride.

Ridden Trail: Ridden Once

Summary: I heard this trail was short, so I did a trail run instead. It took me 24 minutes to run all of the trails open to bikes. So I could probably ride the entire system in less than 15 minutes. Hardly worth the drive unless you live in West Chester. Even though the legal trail is probably less than 2 miles long, it is still entertaining with a beautiful creek, very similiar to Landen Deefield. However, I do think the builders should have put a little more time into bench cutting some of the off camber sections and put more thought into the layout. The climbs coming out of the the ravine are going to be rutted, ugly, unridable eye sores in a few years, if it takes that long. There are a few skid zones that are very similar to Caesar's Creek, and we all know how they look now. But with a few changes, I think this system could be fun and sustainable. Trail is very well marked and is mainly intermediate in difficulty. Beginners will have problems in a few areas. The hiking trails are just as fun as the bike trail. I don't understand why they are not opened to bikes as well. Did the park management fear user conflict? With so little open to bikes, I fear bikers will end up riding the hiking trail anyway, making us all look bad. So please, ride legal. I'm only giving 2 stars due to the systems short length and skid zones.
Recommended Route: Follow the sign that is near the tennis courts.
Other recommended trails in the same area: Harbin, Caesar' Creek, Landen Deefield, Tower Park.
