Summary:
This trailhas a lot going for it--fun, rolling singletrack, good distance, and some technical challenge. The woods are lush and the occasional views of the lake are great.
There are a few ravine exits that are simply unrideable. Very steep with huge roots blocking the way. A couple of the ravine entrances will test your nerve as well as your brakes.
Overall, this is very good trail, but it does need a few days to recover after a rain.

Recommended Route:
Start at the Ward Road trailhead. Head south for a good warmup before the technical parts. Head North for big ravine after big ravine.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
John Bryan, Huston Woods

Summary:
one of the best trails i have been on! great mix of rolling single track with good climbs and nice downhills. beware--when its wet, its a hell of a mud pit. i wait one to two days before i head out again. good for beginers, but you'll be walking a lot till you get used to the place. lots of ruts and roots make it fairly technical(for me atleast) make for a very fun ride. if you go there for the first time, be sure to grab someone to find out where to go. i went three times before someone told me about the area and how much there is to offer as far as riding goes.

Recommended Route:
i like the harveysburg rd trailhead. go east on st.rt.73 past waynesville to you see the signs on the left. go till the road narrows and you'll see a white sign on the right. park and go ride

Other recommended trails in the same area:
heuston woods,vultures knob

Summary:
My favorite trails in the southern Ohio area. Lots of different trail levels to ride: From super easy to a hill called "Suicide". I have neither the bike or the skill to ride Suicide, but I can dream cant I. I agree with previous posts about riding when the trail is wet, don't do it. I Love riding what another poster mentions as "the Pit" What a rush :-) AND: there are some nice views from a number of locations, good swimming too. Water is avalable at the campground on the North (of ward road) Loop or "campground loop" the South loop is called the Harvysburg Rd loop. I Ride every other weekend from Late June to Early Oct.
Another selling point, the trail on ward road is only about 1 mile from the Ohio Renaissance fest. Good camping is to be had at the Horsemans campground about 5 miles west from Brimstone just off of I-73 or stay at the campground just off the trail, but it is best for those with campers.

Recommended Route:
Take Brimstone to Ward rd, park at the far end. The trail goes in eather direction.

Summary:
The Harveysburg loop is hardly technical at all. If you like technical riding do the ward road loop. On March 22 There was a trail matinence day and there was about a 1.2 miles of new trail added onto the ward road trail. The new trail is not technical at all. There is a lot of Technical ridind at Caesar Creek if you know the right places to go.

Recommended Route:
Harveyburg loop if you want to stay out of the parts were there is a lot of mud. If you would like to ride here all day then ride on all the trails. The total length of this trail is about 8 miles.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Vulture Knob which is about 3 and a half hours away from cincy.

Summary:
I Worked out in Cincinnati for the summ in 2001 and rode here a couple times a week. Not bad at all. A couple fun spots. One is the "pit" as i like to call it. A blast to ride through, just make sure you have the right gearing comming up the other side, or or be doing a fun hike. There's also a 50'(???), non technical, steep, downhill. I mostly just lock up the back brakes and do a "controled" slide down it. A lot of fun. I have to say though, please don't ride when it's muddy there. Not that I have an aversion to mud, but it's like to ride on wet ice with grease on your tires. I've found that I do more spinning when it's really muddy out there. Just not worth it to ride out there untill it dries up. The park it's self is pretty non technical, but is fun. I recommend it to everyone.

Recommended Route:
any
