Buffulo Run- McElroy Park

Average Rating:    (4 of 5)

Rolling pack trail with some tight trail parts. The climbs are steep and technical with smooth grass decent in places. Your heart rate monitor will be challenged if you challenge yourself.

Summary:
This is a mostly hardpack dirt, rolling singletrack ride, and since there are numerous trails and connectors in the immediate area, it probably amounts to 4-7 miles of singletrack, altogether. This is not a technical trail in any respect, however. I would rate it a 2-3 on a scale of 1 to 10 in terms of technical difficulty. The only technical aspects of the trail, as far as I could see, were a couple of fallen trees over the trail. There are a few short aerobic challenges on a couple of fairly steep climbs, however, so there is definitely some aerobic challenge involved. It is also a very scenic trail, and you can connect with a fire road up to the World's largest Buffalo! Overall: Not bad for a state with no mountains!

Recommended Route:
I crossed the walking bridge, and rode everything I could find turning both left and right off the bridge. Since I've only ridden it once, I can't recommend the best route.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Unknown.

Summary:
Lots of good climbs and plenty of technical riding. Some new stuff this year included lots of short steep climbs and a couple long climbs. Most of the trails are either hardpack dirt or mowed grass thanks to a couple of hardcore bikers from the area that keep up the trail. Some dirt areas will become unridable after a rain.

Recommended Route:
Over foot bridge and to the left.

I would say very hard but very fun

Recommended Route:
take the left side after you cross the bridge. if you are looking for a hard but level trail thats the one. but if you like ups and down take the right. its very hard with with downs with turns at the bottoms
