Trail Directions
Go west though medora on the main drag. Go past Teddy Roosevelt Nat'l Park entrance, past the RV park. Just before another rode merges, either turn right into a small trail in the woods which turns around and passes under the road, or go across the road following the river. I think there are some signs for the bike trail.

Ridden Trail:
Ridden Once

Summary:
This is the trail entrance for what is now named the Buffalo Gap. This trailhead accesses the Maah Daah Hey (which is not legal for bikes in this location) and both the Buffalo Gap trail and Sully's Creek, as well as St. Andrew's (I think). Just past the third Gate the trail splits - left for Sullys Creek and right for the Buffalo Gap.

Ridden Trail:
Once a year

Summary:
I only got a chance to ride this once, before I left ND. If your out in western, ND, this is a MUST stop. There are tons of trails to get lost on, and many, many, many ups and downs. The trails are maintained by a nearby biking group, and it shows. BRING WATER if biking in the summer. The scenery is really nice. Very little mud due to the parent material of the area, which makes riding pretty nice. Really experienced riders may get sorta bored, I guess, but the scenery should be enough to get them enthralled. The trails are wide open enough to see where you're going, which gave me a little more confidence. I'm not sure if this is part of the Mah De Hey trail, but I'm pretty sure it's seperate. There is no fee, and it's a fantastic ride!!
