Some double track, some single track. Long double track climb. Whoop-de-doos.

It's kinda near Greentown. About 100 yards down 181. The other entrance is in a big mudhole where they haul all that dirt.

Summary:
This may not be the most exciting trail along the 181 corrider, but it's not exactly chopped liver either. As a link between Rasberry and Headley, it gives you a chance to gather your wits and enjoy the awesome scenery.
It is also possibly the best wet weather trail in the area and has no creek crossings. As noted earlier, it is also great for beginners. The big question is what happens if you take a left instead of a right when the singletrack Ts at the doubletrack (grassy road)

Recommended Route:
Facing gates, take the one on the left.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Do Little Fork and Steele's Creek before logging starts.
Things will not be the same. SC has some hike-a-bike sections, but well worth it.

Summary:
Ripshin is a good connector trail to link Raspberry/Barkhouse to Headleys/Steels. It would be a good trail to take a beginner for a taste of mtn biking. The little bit of single track in the middle is sweet and fast, just way too short. There are some sweet views to enjoy/photo early in the ride. I give it a 3 overall for all that it lends to the big picture as a link in the 181 chain, the sweet short section of down hill and the view - great colors in the fall.

Summary:
About the only way you can make this trail into something useful would be if you put it in the larger picture. So close to everything...Raspberry, Little Fork, f'ing GREENTOWN! But yeah... Ripshin's cool. The singletrack in tha middle is cool. I didn't like climbing out of that stupid road. It's too... I don't know... level! Not uphill and not downhill! And I rode it in the snow once! That was before I bought the "swamp thing" tires. I thought my ass was going off into the upper creek somewhere...LOL!!! lata mtbr groupies!!!

Recommended Route:
It's cool to park at the entrance to Little Fork, at that white gate. Errr Bark House'll work if they aint no room. Just go down the LOWER white gate below Greentown. I dunt know where the other one goes. Dead end?!

Other recommended trails in the same area:
greeeeeeeentown, rada camp, razzberry, at
