Summary:
Ok so This needs to be updated. There are currently 30.5 miles of great flowy singletrack at Lake Norman State Park ( Duke Power ). There are 4 separate trail systems: Monbo Loop 6.5 miles, really fun flowy trail not anything techy, a couple mild climbs. Itusi trail which is a 3 part clover leaf trail, Norwood 2.5 miles, Hawk 3.0, Hicks Creek 1.0 miles. Itusi is the original trail and it is fun and flowy with a few mildy technical spots. This is the trail I would send a beginner out on. Laurel Loop is the most difficult, 9.5 miles of challenging singletrack with a couple mildly technical areas.Laurel Loop connects to The Wildlife loop which is another clover leaf trail system with two options. Main wildlife loop is 4.5 miles, Fallstown loop is 1.25 miles, and Fox loop is 2.5 miles. This trail is middle of the road, really flowy and fun with zero techy spots. Many options here and good scenery. Camping available, and a swimming area in Lake Norman in the summer for post rides.

Recommended Route:
Trails change direction annually and people argue over which way is best. Depending on how much you want to ride there are many options here.
