Miles of single-track trails and old fire roads covering the mountain. Some tough climbs, but mostly moderate stuff. Great downhill stuff, too.

Summary:
trails at the tennis court entrance are fun switchbacks, very easy. IF you go to the end of the parking lot the trail get a little more challenging. Both trail heads eventually meet up at a small pond. if you find your way out, hop on the Appalcart for an easy ride back up to try a new path.

Recommended Route:
try the trail head at the tennis court first, then ride the rest of the trails

Summary:
Due to a recent ice storm there are limbs down everywhere. It would be so nice if one of you good souls had a chain-saw and a free afternoon! This is also a really nice place to catch a few moments of peace and Quiet in Boone, which is why the locals don't tell the tourists about it.

Recommended Route:
Take Bodenheimer Drive up from River's street, then go all the way to the back of the parking lot behind the Broyhill Conference Center; you can't miss it, it looks like a logging road. This trail can also be accessed by turning into the ASU parking lot halfway up the hill behind the Chancellor's house and riding down concrete steps or going all the way to the back and looking for trails in the Rhododendron forest. One can also simply find the crude steps behind the dorms near the stadium and climb them.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Greenway

Summary:
On top of that, it is ilegal to ride in the area. it s for foot traffic only. However there is a run down slolom track and a few dirt jumps hidden away. there is also a gnarly rock drop section tht will test even the best of riders. ovrall these trails are only good for people who dont want to ride for more than 10 minutes cause these trails suck

Recommended Route:
Dont waste your time. These trails are by far the worst in the area.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
wilsons creek. yanceys ridge, 21 jumps, and schoolhouse

Summary:
I've only hit these trails a few times so far but look for me out there. There are some really fun downhills on this and some really pretty views. The most fun I've had is on the trail that starts way in the back of the parking lot, where there's 3 cuts on the left side that seem to go straight down. I busted my ass on the little wooden bridge. I went down the stairs fine, but the wood was wet and came down hard. My bike is a bit mushy and heavy for some of the climbs, but these trails are so fun. And there seems to be so many of them. I wish I could figure out how they all connect. I'd like to go biking with anyone that wants company. I'm serious about getting better but I like to have fun so email if you want to hit this trail or any others in the Area.

Recommended Route:
not through that sweet old ladies garden at the end of dogwood

Other recommended trails in the same area:
The Globe, Winkler's Creek, State Farm, hills and such near app south
