Stacked loop design will appeal to all skill levels. Built specifically for mountain biking but hikers welcome. Combination of fast/flowing to tight/twisting; some technical features include 75 foot rock crossing, elevated ladder bridge on advanced trail, to small rock crossings, whoopty-do's and dirt jumps on intermediate loops. Great for families as well. Located on very scenic peninsula off recreational Lake Chatuge with adjacent campground.

Summary:
If you want a newbie to fall in love with mountain biking, bring them here 1st! Immaculately maintained trail system. Very few technical features, only a handful of climbs over 50 ft long. Fast & furious. I think they even use a leaf blower on parts of the trail. I will be back. Only downside... there's only 15 miles of trail. CX bikes would do fine too!

I ride the Jackrabbit trail system 4-5 times a week for the last 2 months and its always a good ride because you can add trail for the amount of time you have to ride from 3.1 miles on the central loop to the full 15.1 miles if you do all the trails great place for families and close to campground and the lake if your ever in the area make sure to check this place out

Summary:
Stayed at the campground last week and rode the trails about everyday. This is a great layout with trails for all skill levels. I rode all loops except the "expert" advanced loop. Each loop has a unique character but all are fun with some tight turns, technical sections and great views of Lake Chatuge. Rode the Sneaking Creek loop right after it was opened Friday. What great fun! Still rough because the roots and rocks have not been cleared yet. Kudos to SABA and Trail Designs for getting this great trail system completed.

Summary:
A wonderful set of different skill level singletrack trails located on a heavily-forested peninsula on Lake Chatuge. This is a work-in-progress as new more-advanced trails are being cut. The trails, being new, are in excellent condition. There is something for everyone at this great joint project between the local bike club and USFS. Deer and other wildlife are abundant. This is my favorite mountain bike trail in the Northeast Ga./SW N.C. area.
