Cross Country Rider Summary: A really fun trail if you are starting or if you have been riding for years. Some really well built up log piles and some down logs that will challenge even the best of us. Can be very muddy if it has rained recently. Needs to be a little more built-up so help do your part. Bug repelent is a must. Recommended Route: To get there,(Heading towards Maysville) turn left at the Haywood Landing sign off of highway 58 and take the first right. Then follow that gravel road until you reach a "T" in the road and take a right to the West Landing. Park and explore. There are trail heads behind the bathroom, near the water, and a ways back down the gravel road (marked by metal trail marks and a spray painted "W"). Pretty much all of the trails connect somehow so go exploring. Other recommended trails in the same area: Brig Trail, New River Air Station Trail
