Flanner''s Beach

The trail to the right of the parking lot and picnic area starts off car wide then veers off down a hill to the right and narrows down a bit. From there you will cross a wooden bridge and then follow the trail around to the paved walking path or stop turn around and do it backwards. The next trail begins to the left of the picnic area and is a little more difficult and all single track. The trail follows the water down about a 3/4 of a mile then ends. It is filled with roots and moderately steep hills. This trail needs a trimming. Also, if you hate spiders stay away as you will be clearing them off of your face every 10 feet. I am currently making a loop to the trail mentioned above. To find the beginning of it is simple. When you go down the first steep hill, you will probably have to push your bike up on the way back, start looking to the left as you start up the next small hill. This trail is not packed down and needs some traffic badly. Anything you would like to do to make the trail better feel free but just please use it. I will get pictures and keep working on it till it becomes a mtn bike destination. If you have any questions shoot me an email at thomasmburkhart@hotmail.com

Trail Directions
From Hwy 70 turn onto Flanner's Beach road and follow it all the way to the end. The trails begin at either sides of the parking/picnic area. The trail to the right(facing the nuese river) is the more beginner friendly trail. The trail to the left begins at the treeline about 10-20 yards away from the steep shoreline.
