Summary:
Those trails are kick butt trails. It is not that tuff. There are a few difficult sections but this is mountain biking. If you have mastered the High School trails you will have no problems here. Unless you try the stunts! Those trails are broken in pretty well now so enjoy.

Recommended Route:
From Seawell Elementary School cross the road slightly to the left. Then cross the tracks and head left. When you hit the road turn right and look for the trail to the left. This is a loop unlike the high school trails. This is not a trail for beginners to ride alone. Intermediate.

Summary:
You can start the back half of this loop by turning left out of Sewell Elem. school and continuing down the road until you reach the church on the right. Go to the back of the church towards the power lines. Go down the power lines about 500 yards until you see what looks like a deer trail veering off to the left. You can get to this point also by taking the trail directly across from Sewell Elem. and taking a left. Be warned: this is old cornrow fields that have been grown over with pine trees, so the trail can be quite difficult on a hardtail or a hangover. This trail is twisty and slick due to the pine needles that carpet the riding surface. After a few short climbs and descents, you'll encounter a series of dirt hills that you ride the crest of for about a hundred yards, These are fun, and will test your bike handling skills to say the least. I've tried to keep this area maintained lately, so any help would be appreciated.......Anyway, after this section, you will encounter some nasty, short but gruesome climbs through a valley and out to the lumber yard. To get back to Sewell Elem., just hang a right on the dirt road and you'll come out behind the airport. Take the first trail to the right, and you'll end up at the 'Shore section. This will dump you out directly in front of the school. Overall, until this trail gets worn a bit, it probably will get crap reviews from impatient trail riders, but it's really a good trail and the people who built it should be given their due for what was obviously a lot of hard work. It will get better if everyone does their part with just a minimum of mantainence every now and then. Good luck, and ride safe.
