Cross Country Rider Summary: San-Lee Park - First impression was there were a lot of small rocks littered in parts of the trail. A good work out, a lot of climbs. A cool river crossings, one sections of the trail that deviate into some tough rock crawling I believe called the "gauntlet". Another rock crawling section that wasn't as challenging called "free fall" Both sections have a bypass.
Governor's Creek - One of my favorite trails ridden. Some steep dips, overall very smooth. Nice downhills, and fast sections. Everyone should definitely ride this trail. Its one everyone will enjoy.
Devil's Ridge - I think I may have ridden on the motor cross trail, if it wasn't then that trail was terrible. All chewed up from the dirt bikes. Even if it was still isn't enjoyable. Almost the whole area has been deforested, its just a wasteland of dead trees and branches. I can only imagine if anyone road after a rain storm this place would be a mud pit everywhere. I may go back to see if I road the wrong trail but its pretty much not worth it. Go to governor's creek or San-lee which is better in every which way. Recommended Route: San-Lee the recommended clockwise route, haven't tried counter clockwise though.
Devils Ridge - Did clockwise but I wouldn't bother going there unless you want to go dirt biking there.
Governor's Creek - Clockwise is definitely the way to go, much more downhills and fast sections, much more enjoyable. I went counter clockwise the first time. Other recommended trails in the same area: Bill Hefner, Smith lake in Fayetteville

Downhiller Summary: This trail was actually alot of fun. Dont get me wrong it was a great workout and their was alot of technical sections. If you take your time it's an intermediate ride but really push it will probably send you tumbling.

Cross Country Rider Summary: Sanford trail - Devils Ridge is still open. Most of the woods were clear cut earlier this year but a new trail has been cut and ready to ride. The trail needs riders to pack it down now. Go out and ride, then go over and do Govenors Creek.

Cross Country Rider Summary: Sanlee-good trail although the uphills are more work than the value they give on the downhill (I like a good payoff for my climbs) Two challenging creek crossings. And don't worry if some annoying little dog barks at you on the back section. I stopped turned around and went off roading after him for the fun of it. He'll run away.
Governors-great loop. Has a little of everything: fast flowing, nice drops section, rock gardens woop-de-doos, the uphills payoff well.
Devils-haven't done it Recommended Route: Only one way to go with each (I believe) Other recommended trails in the same area: Hefner-Fayetteville
Smith Lake-Fayetteville

Cross Country Rider Summary: I rode SanLee for the first time today, the loop took me about 45 minutes to complete. It's an OK trail, but I don't know why everyone thinks that it is technical. Yeah, there are some tight turns and tricky switchbacks, but no rock gardens or log crossings to speak of.
Some of the sections allow you to get a nice flow going, others are going up and down to quickly to ever get a rythym. There are some really loose and washed sections near the end that arent much fun.
I'll go back here, but I'm also anxious to check out the other trails in the area.
