Single track. On the part called the ULTRAMEGA TRAIL there is some North Shore boards and logs. There are some sweet bowls and gullies.

Summary:
They got some crazy stuff out there, you really wouldn't realize it but just ride some of the back trails and it will lead you to some intense stuff out there. i broke my wrist going off a jump out there pretty lame im out for over a month cause of one jump that i have only landed once and it was a sketchy landing but thought i could go bigger and that didn't go great. but the main trail is just for riding around nothing speacial or hard just pedal and go but go off trail and its a great couple of hours of riding hard and fun stuff to do, and by the power lines there is some real fast single track.

Recommended Route:
start from the main area and go down by the damn and ride the main trail and when you get the the big open area where there is lake on both sides take a left up aheaed and look to your right for trails

Summary:
I started mtb here before I moved to Az. Very cool, but it's the best when wet. I thought that it was hard until I moved west. Thoughs gullies are still the coolest things that I've ever rode on. I'm still getting the dirt out of my teeth from all the times I plowed.

Recommended Route:
Out and back, and make sure you hit all the loops

Summary:
Killer technical trail, probably 10 miles of total interconnected trails. Don't go here looking for an XC race course. There are alot of options here. Lots of log crossings and several log rides off the trail. Someone started building stunts too. Awesome gullies. Found a new one that is just a huge G-out, bout 30 feet straight down and straight back up, hard to make it out of. Few people know about this one, it's near the trail that goes to the store at the Interstate. Salem Lake is where all the local roadies that race MTB need to go to get some technical skills, bunch of sissies.

Recommended Route:
Follow the dirt.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Yes. Hobby Park is somewhat close and is faster, but no technical stuff like here.

Summary:
Great place to walk or ride-however too few directional signs and mileage signs along the trails-decided to try walking all around the lake this week and got lost-I stayed on the trails but ended up getting a ride back to my car from a very kind stranger-I never made it back to Linville Road where car was parked trying to walk. I found that even though the trail is very pleasant and I enjoy walking it, I would never again try to walk it for fear that I could get lost once again. Is there anyplace that I can view a map of the lake, trail and surrounding roads???
