Cross Country Rider Summary: This is trail is better than smith lake. I believe those are the only two in Fayetteville, I heard chicken road trail area has been bulldozed not sure though. For the people that worry about having there bikes taken from Military Police I talk with a fellow MTBer and he said the MP that was angry about the MTBers died. The MP's are actually the ones who up keep the trail he says.
The trail is very confusing, ATV and fire breaks intersect the trail and in some points you ride along them to continue with the trail. I have ridden this trail about 5 times and am still trying to figure out the correct route. When I figure out the best route I will post some signs or ribben on some trees to help if no one minds, I'll give it my best shot. There are some nice steep hills that are pretty tricky. Lots of bridge crossings and a cool pallet bridge/dock crossing (the pallets move as you cross them in the water. Anyone living in Fayetteville should check this trail out.
Recommended Route: Counter clockwise Other recommended trails in the same area: Smith Lake, San-Lee, Governor's Creek

Cross Country Rider Summary: I've been gone for a while but someone has really kept this trail up. Me and some friends recently raked and cleaned this entire 6 1/2 mile trail. Trail is fast and in great shape. One of the best trails in the area. Recommended Route: Counterclockwise Other recommended trails in the same area: San lee

Cross Country Rider Summary: I rode Hefner a few times now and its a great little gem in Fayetteville. The trails are in good shape and connect pretty well. There is a nice bridge creek crossing with a 'reflection bench' locked to a tree. If this place was really being monitored by some type of authority then this would of been gone long time ago so saying this is 'illegal' is a stretch.
If you venture from the single track to the jeep track section there is a small little hucking area with a nice little drop with a soft although short landing. Recommended Route: Although they are a bunch of intersecting trails with the jeep trails, the route that I have is of a counter-clockwise pattern. Other recommended trails in the same area: Smith Lake but not as good
Sanford trails but they are all loops

Racer Summary: This trail has been rerouted since the logging has taken place. It still starts at the same place, just take the same ole route and yu will see where it has been rerouted. There is a few new log ladders, tee pee'sand other obstacles. The trail is very fast and clean. The length is 5.75 miles. Remember the military still considers this trail illegal but I haven't seen any game wardens yet, in fact I've been seeing lots of bikers everyday. If you are going to help on this trail please do not cut down any live tree's Recommended Route: counterclockwise Other recommended trails in the same area: san lee, smith lake, dupont forest
