, from new bern Summary: My first time MTBing was saturday. The trail was easy to find and alot of fun. TAKE BUG SPRAY. The fly's are in full force and unrelenting. The course was fast. I only crashed twice (paniced and forgot about the clipless). The trail offered a challenge with a good opportunity at a couple locations to bunny hop a few "small logs" and 2 wood briges crossing small creeks (that were full). A drainage ditch (empty) made a nice 10 foot drop that was easily riden down and back out and served well for working on technique. Going again today.

, from Raleigh Summary: Great Trails! Very fast with some technicals. They just added a new 7-mile loop out there. Even more fun! Call before you go. They close these trails for the least amount of moisture on the ground. I would have given it 4 stars except for their being closed a lot in the wet season. Other recommended trails in the same area: New Light
