Cross Country Rider Summary: Just pure fun!!!!!! This looks like a constant work in progress, there are trails going everywhere, but the ones in use are well marked. This has something for everyone except hardcore downhillers. Love the names, Gravity Cavity, Twisty Turny, The Vortex, Jungle 1&2, etc. Not a whole lot a stunts, but what they have made me feel like a newbie. Track A & Track B are total aerobic grinders. If it is your first time like it was for me, definitely follow the other reviewers advice, follow the Blue dot red arrows for the first lap and then go again following every optional trail. I was very pleased. After I got done riding I told my wife out of all the money I've spent on mountain biking, THIS WAS THE BEST THREE DOLLARS I HAVE EVER SPENT!!!! Recommended Route: All of it!

Weekend Warrior Summary: I've only been here once, and all I did was scope out the main trail, which varies from a 1 to 3 in technical difficulty. But there are many loop trails and other attractions along the main trail which would surely entertain Mtn. bikers much more daring (foolharty?) than myself. All the more advanced loops and attractions scattered along the main trail do have easier bypass routes, so even the more conservative riders can enjoy this park.
I did take a dare at the "Gravity Cavity" A mutated half pipe that's sure to thrill. Or chill, if you don't give it the proper resbect. Recommended Route: First of all, let me say that the directions TO the park are WRONG! If you're coming from Charlotte, take 85 north and get off at Poplar Tent Rd. (exit 52) and turn LEFT on Poplar Tent, not right. Then turn right at the first street after crossing over the Frwy (Goodman Rd.).
As for the park itself, I would take the main trail first, just to get an idea of what it's like. You can see many of the attractions from it, and choose from what you've seen on the second trip 'round. The main trail is only 5 miles long. Other recommended trails in the same area: Southside, Rennisance Park

Weekend Warrior Summary: This was the first time I have been to ride here. I took my two boys with me, a 9yo and a 7yo. They both have a small bit of experience at riding any trails, but they did a good job. As far as the trail goes, HATS OFF to each and every one involved with this place. The trail is very well marked and the skill level needed for the ride goes from first time biker to experienced. We will with-out a doubt, ride it again!! Often!! Recommended Route: Gravity cavity rocks, but didnt really hit it hard with two small boys, but over all the whole route is awesome.

Downhiller Summary: I absolutely love this trail, I try to come out as much as i can and i always find some new spot to session for a while. But i also like to ride the whole trail when i get the chance. The jumps out front are pretty good, but sometimes there is a car infront of the big double at the top. Recommended Route: Follow the arrows, the blue ones are the regular trail while the plain orange ones are optionals. Try to do everything that is marked with a danger sign because its all fun, and there are lots of hidden things in the trail that not most people see. Other recommended trails in the same area: You could've gone to Catawba, they had a nice downhill course but its closed for about a year due to construction of a whitewater park. But there is always something to do in Pisgah or in South Mountain.

Weekend Warrior Summary: great trails. smooth and fast. Im a freerider so i enjoy the fact that there are no incredibly long climbs. We seem to get lost everytime we go out there. but its not cause the trails arent marked well...more because we try to find quik ways to get to the cavity or other drops. Its one of my favorite places to ride...and we rode it religiously during this past summer. Recommended Route: First time out...take the blue route and do the whole course. After that youll know what you like. Other recommended trails in the same area: Catawba and PeeWees
