Summary:
Rode the Greenbelt trail today and forgot how nice the trails are, especially in the fall. I have never been bothered by anyone and stumbled on many hikers the date of this review. Note: Stop and let the hikers pass, be courteous, and they will not complain. Bikes are not allowed on Greenbelt trails, but it's not really being enforced. Trails are marked, maintained and are clean. It's never crowded no matter what time you go. Although there are less hikers if you go early on the weekends.

Recommended Route:
I like the white trail that starts off Rockland Ave about 1/4 mile once you pass Forest Hill Road. (You will see the foot bridge). Take the white trail to you exit on LightHouse road and hang a left go down to Rockland Ave bear left and enter the Yellow trail. Take the Yellow trail and go to Moses' Mountain (Incredible view). Take the Yellow trail across Manor Road and then take the green trail for a short time hook back onto the Yellow trail. Take the yellow trail all the way to Kaufman camp. Reverse and come back. You'll get a good work out. There are many other trails to choose from. Get a trail map at the Nature Center off Rockland Ave corner of Brielle Ave.

Summary:
W Parts of the trails are legal and other parts beware of the rangers. A buddy of mine told mehe was encountered once. But they just tell you to leave. If you ride fast enought they wont run after you anyway. A guy in a truck one time told me to leave. so i tucked into one of the single tracks...its not like he was going to run after men.

Recommended Route:
I enter by Kaufman Campgrounds and i do about 10 miles each time I ride. There are many routes if you want to ride email me at jeff0580@aol.com enjoy!
