This is a 5.5 mile loop that was built in partnership with the Town of Huntington and CLIMB. The loop is for intermediate riders and is one way. Follow the blue blazed trail markers on the trees. Please do not remove logs from the trail, they exist for a challenge and to divert water off the trail.

Be friendly and courteous to all you meet. The firer roads are shared with horses and it is a good idea to shout a greeting then dismount to let them pass. No horses are allowed on the bike trail but there are intersections with the horse trail.

Help us out by keeping the trailhead area clean...pick up trash left by others.

Summary:
Overall this trail is very nice. I ride with a 2012 specialized rockhopper and it handled the trail great. It's trail has a lot of speed and sharp turns. There aren't many drops but they put about 6 jumps thought the trail.

Summary:
Great short loop, keeps you on your toes. Walk the sections you can't ride and please do not remove trail features or logs.

Recommended Route:
Just follow the blue blazes, do a second loop too.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Edgewood Preserve is another 5.5 mile trail but flatter.

Sunken Meadow Park has trails to explore south of the parking areas.
