Magnetic Mine

Average Rating:    (0 of 5)

This trail has nothing remotely tough except one rock drop off and a big downhill covered with leafs that is challenging .. If you live in Northern Westchester or Putnam, it is a good trail to ride on a summer day after work. When I lived in NY I used to ride it all the time.. Some guys from a Brewster bike shop built these trails years ago.. *HOWEVER*I do not know however if these trails are off limits.. I used to see tons of folks riding back there when I lived in the area. I rode here a few weeks ago and saw some bike tracks as well as ATV tracks. It is what it is a fun small area to get out and ride after work.. Follow single track past some old abandoned cars up past the powerlines and into the woods.. Follow down and around toilet bowl hill to the Metro North Train tracks.. Do not cross teh tracks.. NYC watershed.. The DEP gives out tickets.. There are a few miles of trails back there with some fun stuff..
