Higman Hill

Average Rating:    (0 of 5)

From the city of Corning, look for the tallest radio tower. It sits on top of Higman Hill. Take Washington St. south until it turns into Higman Hill Rd. (Google maps has it labeled as Keegan Rd., but the signs say Higman Hill Rd.). Higman Hill road is a dirt road - challenging hill climb. Stay to the left on the road until you come to the gate of the wildlife management area. Behind the gate is a network of double & single track. Some of it runs onto private posted land. There is a good mix of easy & technical trails. The single track tends to be more technical, especially the trails that double back toward the city (technical descents over rocks & roots).
