Franklin D. Roosevelt Boardwalk

Average Rating:    (0 of 5)

A flat boardwalk that runs from South Beach to Midland Beach. This is good for practicing long distance because it is completely flat and so you can clock a good mph. There is really two routes you can take along the boardwalk.

One is on the boardwalk which has a great ocean view. However, you have to ride on planks of wood which is a bit bumpy but not that bad.

The other path is right before the boardwalk and is perfectly paved. However, you lose the great oceanview.

I like to switch between both so I can get the ocean view and some smooth riding. Note, they do attach about half way down and thats where you get the flat ride and oceanview.

It is a great place to explore and the boardwalk and path both have bike lanes that are specifically designated for bikes and rollerblades.
