deerfield loop

this is a fun trail to ride if you are not looking for an extended journey, the loop is short but never boring. there are hills, as well as some short, fairly technical spots. No flat or straight spots. Go around a few times for a decent workout. Trail would improve if more frequently ridden.

Trail Directions
heading east on rt 27, go about a half mile past the citarellas shopping center in water mill, make a left on deerfield lane. Go north almost all the way to noyack rd, the trail head is on the right side, park your car on the shoulder. The trail is a portion of the paumanake trail.

this trail is short, only 3 miles or so. The terrain is fun for a good ride when you dont have a whole lot of time, do as many laps as necessary.

Recommended Route:
rt 27 watermill to deerfield rd, trail head before noyack rd
