Summary:
The trails of Pine Bush Reserve are very easy riding with the exception of some short, sandy climbs. I imagine this place is great for beginners or cross bikes as the surfaces are mostly smooth, free of rocks and roots. A lot of people walk their dogs here and in nice weather I'd expect to see lots of families walking.

Experienced riders looking for a challenge will likely find Pine Bush disappointing. The trails consist of several loops and most are 2-3 miles that can be ridden very quickly, so you frequently find yourself consulting the map to find another trail.

It's a nice place for quick and easy riding, especially early in the morning before the walkers are out there. If you're looking for some rugged, challenging terrain, look elsewhere.

Recommended Route:
The trails off Madison Ave Extension are fun and have some small hills.
