The Trails of Overlook

there are no real mountain biking paths, but there are walking and deer paths and they are quite a bit of fun. you can ride on the fields and cut across the ski lodge for a maze of paths in the woods, next to a beautiful creek and train tracks (which arent quite as attractive) you can also cross the tracks and there are cliffs; watch out for the burning stump and the cabin
also one can ride to the town park and ride through there,
be sure to be on the lookout for a farmer in a golf cart, a maneating rottweiler and the crazed ski lodge lady and while you're there be sure to check out the puzzle house, i used to live there and its a great lot of fun
go into voorheesville town center, go up main street and take left right at elementary school going up swift road, go for about 2.215 miles and take left onto Overlook Drive, drive to end of road and park car
Summary: Parked in area described and could find no trails- most of it was private land with not much of a view either. Also, there are no MTB trails in the New Scotland Town Park. I ended up spending the day at Thatcher- good climb from paint mine to radar/radio towers.
Recommended Route: None.
Other recommended trails in the same area: Thatcher Park. Long Path.
