Cross Country Rider Summary:
Fun trails when dry- can be a slog fest when wet. Lots of twisty singletrack, short, moderately steep climbs and descents, log piles, a few bridges, etc. It's fun! Recommended Route:
Head west on the bike path after crossing Lock 7 Road. Take the second singletrack on the left- up the steep hill to the powerlines and straight ahead into the nature preserve. There's some fun, semi-technical stuff in the preserve, especially around the old powerline towers (you can see these from the bike path). At the northwestern edge of the preserve, you can pick up the three mile or so singletrack (follow the creek west, staying on the north side of it) which snakes its way up and down across the ridge and along the edges of a few ravines. Cross the big grassy field and there's more of the same. You will either end up on the bike path, or back where you started. Other recommended trails in the same area:

Cross Country Rider Summary:
Fun trails enter by lock 7 and climb up the rocks and crap the rocks end after the climb after the climb follow the trail when you get to a split of three trails take the middle one and cross the bridge keep taking that...pedal as fast as you can and catch some air off the bigger roots then go over another bridge when you get to the powerlines dont go right..it ends up on river road either take a left or go straigh for better trails and some downhill.. Other recommended trails in the same area:
Fox Hollow trails-short wide flat up and down
Fox Hollow trails- woods narrow winding bumpy techincal course

Weekend Warrior Summary:
A solid set of trails made up of some nature trails, power lines and some nice twisting single track. I try to ride them at least once a week. Recommended Route:
I park in the lot where the bike path crosses the Lock 7 road, go up the bike path to the left, then take the 2nd trail on the left up the hill to the powerlines. Follow the single track to the west. The Nature Trails criss-cross all over the place. I bear to the right and head down the hill towards the stream. Cross the stream and head west on the trails. It winds back and forth for awhile. You shouldn't end up on the paved path at all, if you do, go back, I made that mistake my first time.

Downhiller Summary:
This trails rock me and my friend ride them everyday. There is a huge variety of trails to do and some good downhilling stuff. Deffinately worth your time to go and bike there. Recommended Route:

Can be alot of fun. Good when dry. Please don't ride in the wet. We are allowed to ride here because there's only a few with minimal impact. If we ride wet and leave track and become a bother, then we'll get tossed here just like the lisha kill and the good stuff in the pine bush. Thanks for riding smart. Recommended Route:
