, from New Roc Summary: This is a good workout trail. Nothing in it is impossible, although it does lead into the forbidden Saxon Woods. There is actually a 14 mile loop that connects parts of Saxon Woods, Leatherstocking and Nature Study (in New Rochelle, much of which follows The Hutch). Average East coast riding, hardpack dirt, many rocks and roots, some hills, even some nice new wood chipped trails. Some is singletrack, most is fire-roadish in width. A good time if you live nearby. Recommended Route: Start at entrance near tennis courts, follow trail for about 3 miles until it spits you out at the bottom of a road and to the right you'll see some busy highway/thoroughfair. Take a left up the paved hill and find a way into the woods in back of everyones' houses. This is Saxon Woods and it is illegal to ride here....you will be ticketed if you are caught. However, they have to catch you to ticket you. Some of the best riding in the area is closeby, but you didn't hear it from me. Have a blast! Other recommended trails in the same area: Sprain is good, graham hills is kinda small and Blue Mountain is kicka$$, especially after the addition of those new trails. Outside of Westchester, try Aspetuck Land Trust in EAston, CT....this place
