Ridden Trail: Ridden Once
| |
Reviewed by: Scott Manspeaker
, from Rochester, NY Summary: Great intermmediate trail - partially an old railroad bed from the early 1900's, winds through many types of forests, includes some technical riding combined with rolling hills and flats. Crosses streams with MTB-friendly bridges, well maintained. Recommended Route: Trail starts at Cranberry Lake in the Adirondacks. Multiple destinations can be reached from this trail head - we went to Burntbridge Pond where there is a lean-to, but could have continued another 6 miles to Dog Pond and other sites. Other recommended trails in the same area: Peavine Swamp.
