Cross Country Rider Summary: many new trails have been built this season(summer/fall '06)
they are fun for everyone! The Victor parks and rec dept. is more progressive than most govt. and this park shows us how much!
A new pump park and new single track makes this spot a destination to get to!
The trails were built 100% by bike riders so everything flows great.
Thanks to Trailblazers and Towpath bike shop for building this much needed legal trail system so close to Rochester!!! support those guys (internet sellers never built anything!)
Ride hard or go to the parking lot alone!
Recommended Route: I like to go up A-train and circle the top on Tree and ziggy before taking the one ways... bone apart,Owls maze and Den are classic western NY terrain. CMP(check my pants) is a rush as is Black widow...don't go slow or you won't make it . ride your bike.

Weekend Warrior Summary: The town of Victor needs to be commended for the good job in laying out this park and the trails. There are even a couple of jumps there by the parking lot. Nice to see a town encouraging this, unlike Brighton taking down the freeride park in Tryon.
There's something for every skill level here.
Fully enjoyed my day out there. Only one small problem was that the free maps there have names for the trails, i.e. "Ziggy" etc., but the trails themselves have signs that just have one letter "Z," etc. so they can be a little confusing. But this is a small footnote to a wonderful park. It's smaller than Tryon, but with the great number and choice of trails, you won't notice it. Bravo!
Recommended Route: Use google maps or yahoo maps and put in "Dryer Road" and "Victor, NY." Or take RT. 96 south/east, follow until the sign for Bristol Mt. says to turn right off Rt. 96, then take your 2nd right to Dryer Rd. Park is on your left. Start from the top of the parking lot, and get a map there. There's even a water fountain in the building by the skate rink. Other recommended trails in the same area: Stid Hill (sp?), Hi Tor.

Racer Summary: A lot of fun! There is like a bazillion different trails. Everything is very smooth, some of the switchbacks are quite technical though. I rode for over 20 miles and wasnt bored yet (repeating a lot of trails several times). Not good if you want to train for rocky, rooty singletrack with exausting climbs though. Its a great place to go knock around for a few hours and have some fun. Recommended Route: Just ride aimlessy. You cant really get lost, but they do supply detailed trail maps at the entrance. Other recommended trails in the same area: Ontario County Park - Cutler, Hi Tor, Spencer park, FLT mt morris, Ellicottville(if you can afford gas)

Cross Country Rider Summary: Very well thought out, extremely well groomed and flowing. Experienced some mechanical difficulties the day I was there but I cannot wait to return. Monroe County should look in to this thing called " multi use" and stop pandering to elite user groups i.e. equestrians and hikers. I applaud the Town of Victor for allowing these trails to be crafted. Bravo to the trailbuilders as well! Recommended Route: Park in the large southern lot and yer at the trailhead. Other recommended trails in the same area: Boughton Park, Stid Hill

Weekend Warrior Summary: A fantastic little park with trails of various lengths for various skill levels.
I had never done any trail riding until trying out this park in late July '05. It was a great introduction to trail riding for a newbie like me, and there are plenty of more-challenging trails that I'm looking forward to riding in the future.
Because I've never ridden anywhere else, I'll put "3" for each of the difficulty ratings below, and "5" for the overall since this is a genuinely enjoyable place to ride!
