Summary:
Good trail for intermediate bikers. Several trails which have good downhills.
Recommend trail across street from parking lot! Good uphill workout but coming down is better. Also, recommend hitting trails past the 1st section of trails. You'll know when the trail comes to an end and you cross a street with a newly built house. That trail has higher difficulty rating. Small bridges, downhills, etc. Really good trail if you don't want to travel far.

about clausland: off of clausland mountain road, in blauvelt, there's a small parking lot with a sign that says "tackamack town park". park there, and there's one singletrack (a bit wider) trail from the parking lot you can follow. really, this small park is a series of long path trail (the blue, red, white and green trails marked my paint slapped on a few trees - it's easy to get lost, remember where you came from) pretty much rolling hills with a technical sections, max downhill about 1/5 mile. unless there's a drought (like now) you are sure to get a good splashing of mud. it's a good short ride if you're in the area. 7 miles, intermediate.
