, from Massapequa Park Summary: Why would you ride here??? There is nothing here to do! There are no real trails for bikes here... just footpaths from people walking through. You will gain nothing from riding here. Recommended Route: DO NOT GO HERE! Other recommended trails in the same area: Bethpage

Ridden Trail: Once a month
| |
Reviewed by: Dorothy Schwartz
, from Seaford, NY Summary: Trail is good for first time single trackers or like myself, for families dragging young children along. Nothing challenging at all, except, a suprise downed tree across the trail. I wouldn't recommend going at night though. The trails are narrow and are a hangout for teenagers. Recommended Route: Start at Jerusalem Avenue just west of the BlockBuster strip mall area. Enter at gate. Head south on the many side trails to Sunrise Hwy. Cross the highway and continue on to the Preserve at Merrick Rd. Other recommended trails in the same area: Bethpage (GreenBelt) trail. Starting from Merrick Rd in Massapequa (Ocean Ave) which will run norht to Bethpage State Park. This trail is next step up from Tackapausha.
