Ridden Trail: Once a month

, from Harrisville Summary: This is an excellent training center for everyone from the novice to the semi-pro. I personally know of many people who grew up on this trail and are now winning the NYS expert categories in mountain biking. If you are arount the area it is a must thing to ride this! Hugh has done a great job making it have excellent techincal singletrack and you can make a day of it because of all of the different trails. It lacks the huge hills, but it has a very difficult, technical section that easily makes up for it. If you want to improve your skills and do it in a freindly environment, this is the place to do it. Other recommended trails in the same area: Inlet, Salmon Hills, Old Forge

, from Hamilton, NY Summary: Hugh has done an excellent job creating a netwok of MTB trails at Osceola. There is a nice mix of everything including some fairly technical sections on the same side of the road as the "club house". The terrain is very abrupt and rolling....it's common to see broken chains due to miscalculated shifts. Soil is loamy (well drained) with a fair amount of exposed roots, rocks, etc. Hugh runs a series of low-key Non Norba MTB races during the season. Recommended Route: Any

Ridden Trail: Once a week

, from Rome, NY Summary: This is a good place to ride. The single track is entertaining without being too difficult for the novice. Lots of up and down, never flat very good place to train. There are enough singletrack sections to make up for the wide-track sections and each year more good trails are added. Also there is a once a month(or so) schedule of races to make it interesting.
