Ridden Trail: Once a week

Cross Country Rider Summary: I grew up in Bath, this trail actually works well as an up hill. The grade is quite moderate, middle chain ring all the way. There are also a coulpe of short loops you can do at the top as well. I haven't been back in years, but there used to be some faint trails you could take all over Other recommended trails in the same area: Finger lakes trail from mitchesville rd. to Hammondsport, this is supposed to be closed to bikers, but I've ridden it hundreds of times and haven't ever seen anyone on it.

Ridden Trail: Every few months

, from Florida Summary: This trail is a blast of a DH and a great place to get your friends hooked on MTB. Stay to the right on the park road until you get to the overlook pavilion (You'll know when you're there) Park there and take your bike back the way you came to the first left into the woods. Take the first trail to the left (Don't worry - it doesn't stay THAT steep all the way down...) There are a couple of ledges with breath-taking views at the beginning to the right of the trail but the slopes are NOT PROTECTED so be careful. There are two runoff creeks to cross that lead into a glen on the right, one with old RR tracks sticking out of the DH side. When you get to the abandoned paved road you have finished the interesting part of Mossy Bank. The run is probably closer to a 400 ft. descent in about 1 mile which sounds lame...until you ride it. (Check the slope on www.topozone.com) Check your brakes before you ride or borrow your brother's Huffy so 1) you don't have to care what the ride looks like when it's all over and 2) you can buy another for the change you find in your couch ... :-)! Don't cross posted private property without permission (just ask - I mean you'll do 40mph screaming downhill on 21 lbs. of aluminum but you scared of maybe hearing the word "no" ???) and pack out at least as much as you take in. Enjoy.

Ridden Trail: Ridden Once

, from Rochester Summary: Rode this trail once, also known as MOSSY CRANK. Very cool place, found it was a good climb to the top of the hill, with a rewarding, fast run back down. The trail is probably an XC ski trail, its wider than single track, mabey a four wheeler sized path. A couple high speed creek crossings to keep you awake. We did the trail three times. Theres a nice view of Bath at the top. From what Big Jake showed us it was pretty much this one trail. I would give it more stars if there were more than one trail that I knew of...
