Ridden Trail: Ridden Once

Weekend Warrior Summary: A nice trail for any beginner or any other rider looking to romp around for an hour but can become a little boring for experienced riders. The downhills (theres 3) do feel nice but are not sick as described. A good workout getting back up them. Very scenic, lots of nice trees. The only real technical part that I came across was a fallen tree with a very narrow path around its base that riders can find themselves getting snagged on. Lookout for dog walkers and hikers. Recommended Route: Many entrances, pick one and ride. I didn't have enough time to find a nice route.

Cross Country Rider Summary: This is a pretty tame trail, no "sick downhill" as described, but it is what it is, a good after work ride for local guys like me. It is a great place to ride some high intensity loops and mix in a nice hillclimb or two to add some variety to your training. It ain't much but it beats riding the road all the time. Recommended Route: I mix up the loop a little but generally I just stay at the edge of the woodline and follow the trail. Its an easy flowing loop but really short. No real challenges here but if you ride as fast as you can you can develop some nice singletrack handling skills.

, from Penfield Summary: I reviewed this once, and I was only a beginner. Still didn't even have a real bike... Now, nearly a year later, I am hucking much harder stuff elsewhere, but Harris Hill is still among my favorites. Set aside 40 minutes, and I can be up there, ride for a half hour, and gone. I still love the place. I have plans for some free ride in the back, and a trials course at the top. Seeing as I ride the place like 3 times a week, I figure why not. Keep a look out, other riders. Recommended Route: Its on route 441, across from the main wegmans entrance. To to the top of the hill.
