Summary:
whoa....only one bra has reviewed this trail since me in 03...thats no good..still the sickest place around...ok maybe not...but there is one drop that isnt scene by most that the penality is u and your bike in the river....definately wouldnt be too cool....but u really suck if u end up in the river so maybe your bike should stay there...

Recommended Route:
go straight and take your second right onto a main passageway....its actually kinda a four way corner on the main road....take a right....go up about fifteen yards and there is a trail on the left...bomb down that...take a left and an immediate right...then immediate left...or u can even keep goin straight and u will have fun....i believe if u go straight u will run into a rooted downhill which is really fun if u have a hardtail or somethin with 2.5....not so sketchy with 8..but gotta go back to the roots

Other recommended trails in the same area:
skytop....built the three sickest trails in syracuse across from the trash incinerator....very very difficult and your balls are just about on the rear tire.......tear it up

Summary:
this trail is for the beginer or intermediate rider. there are a lot of flat beginer trails and also a bunch of nice singal track. a lot of rolling hills and kool buldings to see while you are out. it is right on the river so you can go down there and chill as well
this trail system is pretty complicated and you can get lost if you dont know the area very well. Over all this is a good trail for anyone who rides.

Recommended Route:
any where

Recommended Route:

Summary:
Not extremely challenging terrain, not extremely easy either. A beginner 1st time rider could make a day of it here, and an experienced rider could do the same so long as he's not prepared for a challenge. Not very technical, rolling with very few long hills to tire you out. Nice woods riding, a few stream crossings and some downed trees. My friends and I ride here nearly every Sunday for an hour or two, and it seems we still stumble across a new trail once in a while.

Recommended Route:
Pick any, if you follow the fire road into the trail network, just look to either side and you'll see several options to chose. Pick any and have fun... note, take the second left and you will find a few downed trees which somebody has nailed some ramps onto so they're fun to jump.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Great Bear is one of the nicer riding spots in this area (that we know of), and it's easy to get to. Be sure to check out Fallbrook in Oswego, or Skytop in Syracuse.

Summary:
This is a good area for intermediate riders. There are some roots, a little mud and some fallen trees but nothing extreme. Hardcore and expert mtb'ers probably will not be challenged here. Try the central fire road and the trail by the meadow for a couple of hills. I didn't see anyone else on the Sunday I was there, so once you are familiar with the trails you can go as fast as your ability allows. This is a good area for woods trails w/o a long trip to the Adirondacks. All of the trails are loosely marked by paint/ribbons on the trees. Most are atv trails, but there is some single track also.

Recommended Route:
Start at trailhead across from the pond on Hawthorn road. You can enter on singletrack instead of a fire road. Go to edge of the river and turn right. Follow the doubletrack until you see an old canal lock on the left and a trail going uphill on the right. Take the route up the hill and pick a trail. There a several to choose from.
