Cross Country Rider Summary: This post is in response to Property Owners comments.
I live in the area of the Expert loop trails and have enjoyed them for more than 5 years now. It is sad that the day has come when we cannot ride these trails again. As often is the case, not ALL riders are ignoring the posted signs, few spoil it for the many. Is there any possibilty that with your permission, perhaps a fee, and even a signed waiver, that these trails could be ridden only by persons that have asked in advance? I assume that houses are being built in there but until they are completed we could be using the trails that exist. I understand that in America anyone with the economic means can purchase land and post it and use it as they wish, I guess I wish that places like this could be purchased and used for what they have recently been used for, in this case, biking and hiking trails, not houses, pavement, and concrete.
Thanks for your consideration in this matter.

, from Clifton Park, NY Summary: The singletrack along the ridge is nice and rocky. This might be the best section of trail there. There's a nasty downhill at the far end of this section. If you explore off of the main doubletrack loop, there are plenty of singletracks. Some rocky, some smooth and fast. There's a nice trail inside of the main loop that goes through an old foundation that also is nice. The "CNY slickrock" section is fun to ride around on. There is the opportunity for some hucking. Lots of broken glass around, though. I advise using Stan's No-Tubes. Recommended Route: Park at the end of Ottoman road. Take the smooth singletrack into the woods and try the trails to your left so you find the singletrack that runs along the ridge. Other recommended trails in the same area: Bear Swamp, Vanderkamp.

, from Camillus Summary: I grew up just down the street and have explored this area for 30 years. It is an excellent place to go explore. There is PLENTY of expert and technical terrain if you know where to look or who to ride with. There is also a wide variety of difficulty from easy cruisers to the afore mentioned technical lines. Recommended Route: to the right of the quarry and the left of the stone crusher

, from Syracuse, NY Summary: I actually feel bad for the one reviewer down below. But I can see where you might miss the technical stuff if you don't look really hard. We rode past the same trail at least ten times before "finding it." The hard stuff is relatively hard to find, but worth it once you do. Very very fun place to ride. Recommended Route: All the tight twisty new stuff through the woods. Other recommended trails in the same area: Bird Sanctuary
