Trail Directions
Hwy 48 out of Ruidoso toward Capitan. Turn onto Hwy 37 at Lake Bonito intersection. Two miles to Bonito Lake turnoff. Turn left and continue until you see Philadelphia Canyon sign and a campground. Park and ride up into the campground. Turns into single track.

This is a pretty forest ride but you need to be in shape and ready to push the bike a half mile. Starts in the campground and runs easily up the hill crossing stream a few times. Trail gets rocky and steeper at two miles. Go to the 2.5 reading on your odo and lower your seat and haul ass to the bottom. Really fun but it doesn't take long. 1hour to the top and 12 minutes to the bottom. fun
