sorry forget to fill in trail description above.
Red River Fault Trail is 5.5 mile old ranch road loop with spur that leads to Guadelupe Mountain Trail. GMT is 2 mi., one way, 1000' climb up to "Wild Rivers Overlook". combine both for a tuff 10 mile trip. GMT is for the most part deteriorated FR...some sections quite steep but all is rideable until top where you should hike to overlook(s).
there is a decent map of both trails available at entrance or visitor center of the 'Wild Rivers Recreation Area'. the park itself is first class BLM faciltiy. water, shaded camping and scenery and vistas beyond compare. oppty to see golden eagles, bobcats, bighorn sheep.
