Racer Summary: Rules for biking the maze;
To maintain the integrity of the maze, we ask that you strictly follow the following quidelines.
1. Ride only on the trails. DO NOT RIDE BETWEEN TRAILS.
2. Treat the trails like railroad tracks. i.e. don't turn on the 90s or crossings. Don't go the wrong way on a fork.
3. If you make a track outside of the trail, please go back and clean it up.
4. Some of the sections may be way beyond your ability. If you need to you may CARRY you bike to another trail. There are many trials sections. If you find a section to difficult, work up to it with easier sections. Don't modify sections that were intended to be difficult. Other recommended trails in the same area: Four Hills

Cross Country Rider
, from South Bethlehem, PA Summary: oh man, i used to ride these trails 3x a week when i lived in albuquerque a few summers ago. these were the trails i'd ride on my lunch break at SNL, and they are lots of fun. i recommend the slime, i'd get flats pretty regularly with normal tubes and tires. fun stuff. Recommended Route: well, it's a maze... Other recommended trails in the same area: i would imagine that these trails might be off limits with the new push towards security around government facilities. like i said, its been 6 years or so since i've ridden these trails.

Weekend Warrior
, from Albuquerque, NM Summary: This is mainly a lunchtime trail for base employees that was started by albuquerque's own Mountain Bike Hall of Famer (go to MTB HOF if you don't know who this is)
The trails are very tight single track and are quite fun if you go with a group of friends. This really, really can be a fun wintertime ride on the weekends.
With all the growth going on Eubank lately I am amazed that the city and Base employees have not tried to clean up this old dump ground. The MAZE is away from the dump, but next to the transformer substation on Eubank it is a mess. Perhaps TrailPartners should take this up as a special project. This area can be albuquerque's solution to lack of winter trails. Recommended Route: Park up by Emcore or in the industrial park. Much safer there. Ride on dirt road extending south on Eubank and take this straight - DO NOT TURN LEFT UNTIL YOU DROP DOWN TO CANYON BOTTOM. Ride all the way to the KAFB fence , and follow the fence line east. Pass the canyon wash - no fence, just steel beams coming out of the ground. Ride east past this area for about 1/8 mile. When the small hills start to form, look for the trails climibhing out of here. Climbs any of them, and eventually you will find this hidden treasure. Other recommended trails in the same area: 4 Hills, South Foothills.
